Lintasarta Collaborates with Rumah Zakat to Give Ramadan Charity to Hundreds of Orphans & Dhuafa Simultaneously in Four Cities

Jakarta, 6 April 2023 – In commemoration of its 35th anniversary which coincides in the month of Ramadan, Lintasarta, a leading total solutions Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company in Indonesia, is providing compensation to hundreds of orphans and poor people under the umbrella Spirituality and CSR. This activity partnered with Rumah Zakat and was carried out simultaneously in Jakarta, Medan, Bandung and Surabaya.

“Lintasarta anniversary celebration this year has a slightly different feel because it coincides with the month of Ramadan. We see this as the right moment to make more contributions to society, especially for those in need,” said Triharry Darmawan Oetji, Corporate Secretary General Manager of Lintasarta.

Providing compensation to hundreds of orphans and dhuafa is supported by Rumah Zakat as the official partner of Rohis and Lintasarta’s CSR, with compensation in the form of Al-Qur’an, prayer equipment (prayer mats, sarongs, mukena), school equipment, snacks, and pocket money.

“During the month of Ramadan this year, the compensation program was deliberately carried out simultaneously so that a sense of togetherness and kinship is felt more. Not only that, the compensation package provided has also been adjusted to the needs of the orphans and dhuafa who are involved in the event,” said Herbudi Wibowo, Chairperson of Rohis Lintasarta.

Rumah Zakat and Rohis Lintasarta themselves have collaborated on health, economic empowerment and education programs since 2004. Especially over the past year, Rumah Zakat and Rohis Lintasarta have succeeded in initiating various community empowerment programs with a total of 968 beneficiaries and a total distribution of programs worth approximately IDR 717 million. The programs carried out also varied, ranging from student scholarships, free ambulances, economic empowerment, mass circumcisions, and Ramadan compensation.

It is hoped that the first Ramadan compensation program implemented post-pandemic can foster a high sense of solidarity and concern among people, as well as having a meaningful impact not only on the beneficiaries, but also within the company.
