Remarks:

Commited Information Rate (CIR)

This provides minimum bandwidth guarantee that is given to customers even in bursty traffic. Maximum CIR 50%, but could be less to help customers reach effective cost-performance. CIR could be proven through the result of periodic data capture.

Excess Information Rate (EIR)

It serves as additional bandwidth above CIR which is still part of service to the customers. The maximum percentage of EIR is same as access rate which is reduced by CIR. Lintasarta gives EIR for free to all Frame Relay’s customers.

Utilization of Bandwidth

Lintasarta has reliable equipment to execute traffic monitoring. If necessary, customers may apply for the information to their Account Manager. This information is important to monitor the traffic progress. As a customer of Lintasarta, if utilization reaches maximum rate, the bandwidth will be automatically expanded.
